Moss Stitch

Hey Crocheters! ✨ It’s Nadia here, the owner and creator of New Mom Spirit!

The Moss Stitch, also known as the Linen Stitch or Granite Stitch, is one of the easiest and most textured crochet stitches. It’s a simple combination of chains and single crochets (UK: double crochets) that creates a beautiful woven effect.

This stitch is perfect for beginners and works great for blankets, scarves, dishcloths, and even garments. Let’s learn how to crochet it! 🧶

What is the Moss Stitch?

The Moss Stitch is created by alternating single crochets (UK: double crochets) and chains. This technique gives it a dense yet flexible fabric with a subtle texture.
