Ripple Stitch Pattern

Foundation Chain

Chain a multiple of 12 + 3 (to keep the pattern balanced).

Row 1:

  • Work 1 tr (US: dc) in the 4th ch from the hook.

  • 1 tr (US: dc) in the next 3 ch.

  • Tr2tog (US: dc2tog) twice (this forms the valley).

  • 1 tr (US: dc) in the next 4 ch.

  • 2 tr (US: dc) in the next 2 ch (this forms the peak).

  • Repeat across the row. Turn.

Row 2:

  • Ch 3 (counts as first tr).

  • Repeat Row 1 by following the pattern of 4 trebles, 2 decreases, 4 trebles, 2 increases across the row.

  • Turn and repeat until your project reaches the desired length.
