How to Make a Front Post Treble Crochet (FPtr)

1️⃣ Yarn over twice.
2️⃣ Insert your hook around the post of the dc two rows below (instead of into the top of the stitch).
3️⃣ Yarn over, pull through (4 loops on hook).
4️⃣ Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (3 loops left).
5️⃣ Yarn over, pull through 2 loops (2 loops left).
6️⃣ Yarn over, pull through the last 2 loops.

This forms the raised crisscross diamond pattern!

Tips for Crocheting the Diamond Stitch

✅ Keep your post stitches loose – This prevents the fabric from being too tight.
✅ Use a solid color yarn – This helps the diamond pattern stand out beautifully.
✅ Check your stitch placement – The FPtr must be placed in the right spot for the pattern to align.
